The shahenshah of bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan opened up about his admiration for the Netflix original period drama.
The veteran actor took to his personal blog and wrote," "Been watching 'The Crown' lately and inadvertently I find myself becoming a character in the times of Queen Elizabeth, and royalty and the events of those years... We become a bit regal too in our demeanor... Hehehahaha..."
He continued, “The moment you start watching a tele-serial, you begin to automatically imbibe the nature of the characters in them. It’s quite odd… And suddenly the family turns around and looks at you with some questioning and asks: ‘Are you alright?’I mean of course we are alright… But the effect of the characters in the serial is not… They remain somehow and we find ourselves reliving them in our daily lives.
Amitabh Bachchan Admire Netflix Original Series "The Crown”. He said he admires "the amount of effort taken to present some of the works of these serials in its authenticity, in its content and in the reality of events they cover or talk about with great frankness and honesty."
The Crown is a Netflix original period drama follows the political rivalries and romances of Queen Elizabeth II’s during her reign. It speaks about the events that shaped the second half of the 20th century.
The Bollywood megastar celebrated a quiet New years eve with his family and especially his granddaughters Aaradhya Bachchan and Navya Naveli Nanda. Twitter saw some of the sweetest Big B moments when the 'Thugs of Hindustan' actor shared some really candid clicks with his granddaughters.
We would get to see more of Big B in Vijay Krishna Acharya's Thugs of Hindostan. He sports a menacing look and appears almost twice his size thanks to the rustic armor and a huge turban. Not to mention his sword and an untamed beard. The movie also stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Fatima Sana Sheikh.
