Malhotra who is currently gearing up for the release of Neeraj Pandey`s Aiyaary, says he is thankful to superstar Shah Rukh
Khan.
The
Aiyaary actor said he is thankful to superstar Shah Rukh Khan for mentoring him
and showing him the path to be a better actor while working together on `My
Name Is Khan`. Sidharth opened up about Shah Rukh and his upcoming movie `Aiyaary`.
"I
was an assistant director for the film `My Name Is Khan` and Shah Rukh Sir
shared useful tips on his mantra to be successful in the competitive glamour
industry of Bollywood. He shared valuable advice on paying attention to detail,
absorbing and using the props around to enhance one`s performance. My
experience was enriching and it was `The Best Film school` filled with fun,
confusion, goof-ups and a lot of hard work. I am grateful for the experience
and thankful to SRK for shaping me into a better actor," said the `A
Gentleman` star. The 33-year-old actor assisted Karan Johar on his 2010 film My
Name Is Khan, that cast SRK in the lead role and co-starred Kajol.
Sidharth
spoke at length about his conversations with SRK on the set of My Name Is Khan.
For Sidharth, working with SRK was an experience as enriching and "the
best film school filled with fun, confusion, goof-ups and a lot of hard
work." Sidharth Malhotra, thus, is grateful to SRK for shaping him into a
better actor. Last November, Sidharth featured in Ittefaq, which was produced
by SRK`s production house Red Chillies Entertainment.
Shah
Rukh Khan was last seen in Jab Harry Met Sejal. He is currently busy filming Aanand L Rai`s Zero with Anushka Sharma
and Katrina Kaif, scheduled to release in December.
